3. Who can apply?
The Grant is open to Start-up businesses, Micro businesses and Small-Medium Enterprises (businesses with fewer than 250 employees and with turnover or balance sheet totals below the relevant threshold). The grant is only available for businesses with a registered address in Ceredigion and the investment must be used to support their business operation within the county. Evidence such as HMRC registration, bank statements, etc. will be required to prove trading dates.
Applicants must demonstrate their growth plans (and provide evidence where applicable) within the application process. Business growth is defined as a business seeking to increase employment, turnover, productivity, innovation or can demonstrate market expansion. Priority will be given to businesses with the ambition and characteristic to scale-up.
It is highly recommended that applicants seek support from a business support provider or a recognised consultant prior to completing their application form.

All expenditure associated with the grant must be delivered and defrayed (paid) by the 31st of January 2027.
