Housing Privacy Notice

The purposes for which we use your personal data

The information we collect about you will be used for the purpose(s) of assessing your need for housing and providing you with housing that meets your needs. The information we collect may be used to inform your placement on the following register(s):

  • Common Housing Register
  • Affordable Housing Register
  • Accessible Housing Register
  • Older Persons’ Housing Register
  • Housing Options
  • To assess the need for Traveller accommodation within the County
  • Register of Housing in Multiple Occupation (HMO)
  • Administration of the National Empty Homes Grant within Ceredigion County area
  • Leasing Scheme Wales

Information may also be used to assist you if you have an enquiry regarding homelessness.

The lawful basis for the processing of your information is for the performance of a task in the public interest or for official functions or to comply with the law, including the legislation listed below:

  • Housing (Wales) Act 2014
  • Licensing of Houses in Multiple Occupation and Other Houses (Miscellaneous Provisions) (Wales) Regulations 2006

Transferring your information abroad

Your information will not be transferred outside the United Kingdom.
