The Council’s decisions are set out below. The Statutory notice will be published on the Council’s website and on or near the relevant school’s main entrance. Copies will also be available for parents at the school. The Statutory notice includes details such as the proposed implementation date, how to obtain a copy of the consultation report, and how to object. During the statutory Objection period, objections must be made in writing and sent to the proposer within 28 days of the date on which the proposal was published.
The Statutory notice period for Comins Coch Primary School, Plascrug Primary School, Llwyn yr Eos Primary School and St Padarn’s Catholic School started on March 1st. It will close on 29th March 2024. It is proposed to implement the Cabinet decision on 1st September 2024.

The Statutory notice period for New Quay Primary School started on April 8th. It will close on 5th May 2024. It is proposed to implement the Cabinet decision on 1 September 2025.
New Quay Primary School

Original Consultation
The following consultation is a result of Ceredigion County Council’s cabinet decision on May 23rd 2023.
The proposal is to amend the language in the Foundation Learning in the following 5 schools; New Quay Primary School, Comins Coch Primary School, Plascrug Primary School, Llwyn yr Eos Primary School and St Padarn’s Catholic school. It is also proposed that three of these schools, New Quay School, Comins Coch School and St Padarn’s Catholic School are able to admit 3 year old pupils on a part time basis.
The consultation is open on the 15th of September and closes on November 17th. You may share your written views within this period after reading the relevant documents.
