Visitor Moorings

There are currently two options for those wanting to visit any of the three Ceredigion managed harbours and moor on a temporary visitor mooring. These are:

  • Per Day
  • Per Week (2 weeks maximum stay)

Please be advised that there are a very limited number of visitor moorings, and we cannot guarantee that a suitable mooring will be available. Anyone wishing to apply for a visitor mooring are advised to do so well in advance.

Should you wish to visit one or all three of the Ceredigion Harbours (Aberystwyth, Aberaeron and New Quay) please complete and return the relevant application form(s) (see hyperlink and below), and details of the length of time you are applying for, along with a copy of your vessels insurance. Your application will then be reviewed, and you will be informed of the outcome in due course (contact page below).

Should the application be approved payment instruction will be sent to your preferred contact method. Upon payment of the appropriate visiting fee, you will be cleared to visit the Harbour applied for, for the specified duration. You will be given details of the mooring(s) that has been you have been allocated for the duration of your visit.

No vehicle parking rights are afforded to any visitors or other harbour users, harbour users should make their own parking arrangements. The Council provides public pay and display car parks in the vicinity of each of the harbours these are as follows:

  • Aberystwyth:  New Promenade Car Park
  • Aberaeron: South Beach Car Park
  • New Quay: Rock Street Car Park and Church Road Car Park
