Paperless Billing (E-Billing)

Go paperless and apply for your Council Tax bill to be sent by email.

By going paperless we will no longer send you a paper copy of your Council Tax bill.  Instead, you will receive all bills and reminders by email, as a portable document format (PDF) attachment, until you tell us otherwise.   

There's lots of good reasons to switch to getting your council tax bill by email rather than paper:

  • Receiving your bill by email as soon as it is available
  • the convenience of always having your bill on your phone whenever you need it
  • easily accessible on your phone if you're asked for a bill as proof of identity
  • peace of mind, knowing your bill can't get lost in the post
  • less paper through your door, so it is better for the environment
  • It also cuts down on unnecessary postage

To sign up you will need your Council Tax account number which can be found on your last bill.  It is 9 digits long starting with 70…….
