Ceredigion Placemaking

Ceredigion County Council is developing Place Plans in some of the county's largest villages.

This initiative aims to build on the positive engagement and outcomes from the town plans, ensuring that our villages also have a strong voice in shaping their future.

The villages are: Aberporth/Parcllyn, Borth, Bow Street (including Llandre and Genau'r Glyn), Cenarth, Felinfach/Ystrad Aeron, Llanarth, Llanilar, Llanon, Llanrhystud, Penrhyn-coch, Devil's Bridge, Pontrhydfendigaid and Talybont.

Over the past month we have met with the community councils and county councillors across the thirteen villages and have been busy organising community drop-in sessions so that local residents and groups have a say in the plan-making process.

These sessions are important for people to have their say on:

  • What's great about your village.
  • What's missing and what needs fixing.
  • What does the village mean to you? Its sense of place.

The dates and locations can be found below.
