50+ Forum

Ceredigion’s 50+ Forum is chaired by Ceredigion’s Older People’s Champion, Cllr Catherine Hughes and consists of elected representatives from each of the main towns in Ceredigion and their surrounding areas. The group meet every 3 months to discuss areas of need within the county.

In addition to these meetings, an open forum is held once a year which offers a warm welcome to all over 50’s in Ceredigion, as well as representatives of friendship groups and organisations within the county. This provides an ideal opportunity to identify ways in which our communities can be further enriched and find out what’s going on in Ceredigion to support over 50s.

An information network which will include a directory of services in the County is currently being prepared and please contact us if you would like your group or organisation listed in this directory.

For more information or if you would like to contact your local 50+ representative, please call Naomi McDonagh (50+ Strategy Coordinator) or Diane Davies (Community Wellbeing and 50+ Engagement officer) on 01545 572105 or email naomi.mcdonagh@ceredigion.gov.uk / diane.davies2@ceredigion.gov.uk
