Car Park Season Tickets
Season Tickets are available for Ceredigion County Council managed Long Stay Pay and Display Car Parks.
If you use our car parks regularly you could save money on the cost of daily parking by buying a Car Park Season Ticket with costs equivalent to as little as 81p per day.
Types of Season Tickets Available
There are two types of Season Ticket available for Cars, Motorcycles and Vans up to 3.5t (excluding motorhome and caravans). These are:
A) Ceredigion Long Stay (excluding North Road Car Park, Aberystwyth)

B) Ceredigion Long Stay (including North Road Car Park, Aberystwyth)
This Season Ticket is valid in all the car parks noted under the Ceredigion Long Stay (excluding North Road Car Park, Aberystwyth SY23 2HE) Season Ticket as well as North Road Car Park, Aberystwyth. This Ticket is only available to residents and people employed in the specified area shown here: North Road Car Park Season Ticket Eligibility Area
Evidence will need to be provided during the application process of the applicant’s eligibility for this Season Ticket as part of their application e.g. Council tax bill, V5 document or letter from employer confirming their place of work. This evidence will be reviewed prior to the application being processed and the Season Ticket being issued. Accepted file types are png, gif, jpg, pdf, doc, docx, xls and xlsx.
Please note that the maximum number of Season Tickets that will be in operation for this car parks is 40. Issuing of these Tickets will be on a first come first served basis and once the maximum number of Tickets have been issued no further Tickets will be issued.
There is one type of Season Ticket available for Heavy Vehicles:

Applying for a Season Ticket
Season Tickets are available to start throughout the year on the 1st or 15th of the month. Please ensure that you read the Terms and Conditions related to Season Tickets prior to making an application.
Please apply for your Season Ticket at least 14 days before you wish it to start to allow time for the application to be processed and for your new Ticket to reach you.

Direct Debit Payment Option
For 9 month and 12 month Season Tickets you can choose to pay by Direct Debit to spread the cost. Please note that payment by Direct Debit will incur a £10 administration fee.
Those choosing to pay by Direct Debit are required to print and return a completed Direct Debit Mandate to the Council within 14 days of the application. When completing the application, a separate window will be presented during the process which will display the Direct Debit Mandate that needs to be completed. Failure to complete the Direct Debit Mandate and return it to the Council within 14 days of the application for a Season Ticket, will render the Season Ticket invalid.
Once the Direct Debit Mandate is returned, a schedule confirming the payment dates for the remaining balance will be sent out to the Season Ticket holder.
For 12 month Tickets an initial payment equivalent to 1/10 of the total cost plus the administration fee will be taken at the time of application and the remaining balance will be payable over 9 monthly payments.
Example payment schedule for 12 month Car, Motorcycle and Van Season Ticket:
Payment on application = £29.50 + £10 = £39.50
Followed by 9 monthly payments of = £29.50
Total payment = £305
For 9 month Tickets and initial payment of 1/7 of the total cost plus the administration fee will be taken at the time of application and the remaining balance will be payable over 7 monthly payments.
Example payment schedule for 9 month Car, Motorcycle and Van Season Ticket:
Payment on application = £34.29 + £10 = £44.29
Followed by 6 monthly payments of = £29.39 and 1 payment of £29.37.
Total payment = £250
Season Ticket Terms and Conditions
- Season Tickets are not valid for use at Short Stay Car Parks or any Permit Holder Only Car Parks.
- Season Tickets are only valid until the expiry date printed on the Ticket.
- A Season Ticket must be prominently displayed immediately behind the front windscreen of a vehicle so that the Ticket is clearly visible from the outside. Or, in the case of a vehicle not fitted with a front windscreen, on the front or nearside of the vehicle, or other conspicuous location clearly visible to an Officer of the Council.
- The Council does not guarantee that a parking space will be available.
- Season Tickets are vehicle specific and are not transferable or refundable.
- A Season Ticket will only apply to the vehicle registration number printed on the Ticket. It will also only be possible to use the Ticket at the at the specified car park(s) that the type of ticket is valid for.
- Failure to display the Season Ticket or comply with any other provision of the current Off-Street Parking Places Order will render the vehicle liable to be issued a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN).
- The responsibility for the renewal of a Season Ticket rests with the Season Ticket holder.
- Season Tickets remain the property of the Council and any abuse of the provision will render the Ticket invalid.
- Use of photocopies of a Ticket or making alterations to a Ticket is not permitted. Any such action will result in the cancellation of the Ticket and it will also affect the ability to purchase any further Season Tickets.
- If a Season Ticket is lost, damaged or destroyed, the Ticket holder may apply at the Council’s discretion for the issue of a replacement Ticket.
- Any person duly authorised by the Council may close all or any part of a car park whenever it is considered such closure is reasonably necessary. Season Ticket holders must not enter any part of a car park or whole car park that has been closed.
- The reselling of a Season Ticket is prohibited and will result in the cancellation of a Ticket.
- Ceredigion County Council accepts no liability in respect of loss or damage to any vehicles or any contents therein.
Requests for Vehicle Registration Changes or Replacement Ticket Due to Loss, Damage or Ticket Being Destroyed
Registration changes:
Where a Season Ticket holder sells or otherwise disposes of their vehicle the Council will at its discretion allow a change of registration subject to a formal request. Vehicle registration changes can take up to 10 days to process and incurs a £10 administration charge.
Ticket holders are advised to make requests for a change of vehicle details as far in advance as possible of the new vehicle details, as the Council does not permit vehicles to park with an invalid Season Ticket. If a Season Ticket holder would like to use a new vehicle before they receive their replacement Season Ticket from the Council, they will need to make alternative arrangements for their parking e.g. pay for their parking at the Council’s car parks or park at an alternative location. Season Ticket holders will also need to return the original Season Ticket to the Council and failure to do so will render the new Season Ticket invalid.

For the first loss within the validity period of the Ticket, this will incur a £10 administration fee. For any further requests for a replacement, the full cost of a Season Ticket will apply. In each case the original Ticket, or first replacement Ticket where relevant, will become invalid and it is entirely at the discretion of the Council as to whether a replacement Ticket will be issued.
Where requests are approved this can take up to 10 days to process and, if a Season Ticket holder would like to use their vehicle before they receive their replacement Season Ticket from the Council, they will need to make alternative arrangements for their parking e.g. pay for their parking at the Council’s car parks or park at an alternative location. In the event of the replacement being as a result of the Season Ticket being damaged, the Ticket holder will also need to return the original Season Ticket to the Council and failure to do so will render the new Season Ticket invalid.
