Storm Goretti update – take care when travelling
Severe weather and challenging driving conditions are expected over the next few hours (Thursday 08 January) and tomorrow (Friday 09 January) as Storm Goretti hits Ceredigion.
A Yellow warning for wind and rain is in force in Ceredigion; as well as a Yellow for snow and an Amber warning for snow on the eastern side of the county. The latest information on these weather warnings is available on the Met Office website: UK weather warnings - Met Office
The weather is expected to lead to hazardous travel conditions and disruptions to services. Crews will be out treating/gritting the highways on the Precautionary Salting Routes overnight, as needed.
