Elen James, Chief Education Officer, added: “The GCSE results are commendable and very positive once again this year and are a testament to the dedication and hard work of our young people. Huge congratulations to the learners on their conscientious efforts. The commitment and efforts of the teachers and staff, alongside the support and assistance of parents/carers to ensure success for every pupil should be acknowledged and celebrated.
"Ceredigion is eager to see all of our young people succeed and thrive and we wish the best to every one of the learners as they take the next exciting steps in their careers, whether that be returning to sixth form, following a course at college, an apprenticeship or joining the world of work."
Best wishes for the future to all students.
