2. How much funding is available?
Each grant award will be based on 50% of eligible costs. Minimum grant support will be £5,000 and up to £50,000.
Match funding must be cash (rather than ‘in kind’) and from private sector sources.
The grant will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Where an application is approved the business must fund 100% of expenditure before receiving the agreed grant as a reimbursement.
Applying is a competitive process, and value for money/impact will be a key factor when projects are appraised and selected.
Grants more than £50,000 can be considered on a case-by-case basis for applications which clearly align with and contribute significantly to the delivery of Ceredigion’s Economic Strategy and the UKSPF Mid Wales Regional Investment Plan.

At least one new job must be created and/or one full time equivalent (FTE) job safeguarded, in order to access the grant. Any jobs being claimed as safeguarded will need to be forecasted as being lost within 6 months of application.
